Join UBC IEEE for a Lunch & Learn with Matthew Zieleman, an Embedded Software and Electrical Engineer at MDA Space and UBC Engineering Physics alumnus. Matthew will share his career journey across multiple industries (from automotive and power systems to energy, medical robotics, and now space) highlighting the lessons he learned at each stage and what he wishes he had known as an undergraduate. In the second half of the talk, he’ll discuss his current work on Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) satellites at MDA Space and share insights into the space industry.
