Title: Improved Safety and Performance using Current and Voltage Sensors in Distribution Switchgear
Speaker’s name: Dr. Lukas Cesky
Abstract: In the past decade, there has been noticeable growth in the use of low-power passive instrument transformers (aka Sensors) based on the Rogowski coil principle for current and resistive or capacitive voltage divider principles for voltage. These advanced technologies have been utilized in various applications from secondary to primary distribution in both indoor and outdoor applications. These sensors provide an advanced alternative to using conventional instrument transformers in electrical distribution systems for measurement, power quality, and protection applications. In this webinar we will cover the basics of this technology and the applicable standards. We will discuss various aspects of the integration of this technology into distribution switchgear and describe the significant resulting benefits in terms of safety, sustainability and <a href="http://performance.
