A Simulation Toolbox for Power Electronic Systems
Plexim provides three solutions to design and test power electronic systems and their associated controls. The PLECS simulation software is extremely fast and robust, and includes component libraries for thermal, magnetic, and mechanical aspects. The RT Box is the fastest real-time simulator for power electronics with the Nanostep® solver. It offers controller HIL testing for converters switching into the MHz range, and rapid control prototyping. Presenter’s Bio:
Munadir Ahmed is an Embedded Power Electronics Specialist at Plexim, with expertise in system-level design, modeling and simulation, controls and firmware development, and rapid prototyping of power electronics systems. Since earning his MSEE from Purdue University in 2013, he has worked on advanced on-board charger and power conversion systems, focusing on developing innovative control solutions and translating simulation models into functional hardware <a href="http://prototypes.
