The IEEE UBC Student Branch, in collaboration with UBC Sailbot, is proud to host the Engineering Design Team (EDT) Competition, an 8-hour high-intensity design challenge bringing together some of UBC’s most technically driven <a href="http://students.

The EDT Competition challenges participants to develop innovative solutions around the theme “A Better Tomorrow.” Students will work in teams across three design tracks:

Software Track algorithm development, AI, and system design
–
Mechanical Track CAD and mechanical system design
–
Electrical Track circuit design and ECAD
Participants will collaborate under time pressure to design, and present engineering solutions, which will be evaluated by judges from industry and <a href="http://academia.
