Event DescriptionThe IEEE Young Professionals Victoria Section Affinity Group is pleased to organize the F1TENTH Autonomous Racing Challenge, a hands-on technical competition focusing on robotics, autonomous systems, and intelligent transportation <a href="http://technologies.The" target="_blank" title="technologies.The">technologies.The event will take place on April 1st, 2026 (afternoon) at the ELW Building Lobby (First Floor), University of <a href="http://Victoria.Following" target="_blank" title="Victoria.Following">Victoria.Following the recommendation of the IEEE Victoria Section leadership, this activity is being organized as a joint event in collaboration with multiple IEEE organizational units, including the IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) Victoria Section Affinity Group, the IEEE UVic Student Branch, and the IEEE VTS/ComSoc Victoria Section Joint <a href="http://Chapter.Participants" target="_blank" title="Chapter.Participants">Chapter.Participants will engage in an autonomous racing challenge using the F1TENTH platform and demonstrate solutions related to perception, localization, planning, and control.
